On Tuesday, August 2, we welcomed our incoming kindergarten students to Gary D. Wright Elementary School for our Kindergarten Kick-Off. Students were able to take a bus ride, eat a snack in the cafeteria, meet members of our staff including the kindergarten teachers, engage in a kindergarten readiness activity, and play on the playground. It was a super fun event and we can't wait to welcome the Class of 2035 back to Gary D. Wright Elementary School on August 16 for their first day of kindergarten!
